  7. WinKill is a MS Windows equivalent of X-Kill on X-Windows.  It allows you to
  8. point at a specified window and either close the window or terminate the
  9. underlying process.  In addition windows and tasks can be killed using the
  10. shortcut menu.

  19. Basic Functionality
  20. ------------------

  22. WinKill allows you to terminate windows and tasks in a number of ways.
  23.  
  24. Firstly a window can be closed by single clicking the system tray icon
  25. and then clicking on a window using the cross hair that appears.  A 
  26. window can be killed by double-clicking the system tray icon and then
  27. clicking on the window to kill.

  29. Tasks and windows to kill can also be killed from a shortcut menu,
  30. activated by right clicking on the system tray icon.
  31.  
  32. Hot-keys can be assigned to allow a window or task to killed with a
  33. single key-press.  Hot-keys are user definable, and set in the Options
  34. dialog; activated from the shortcut menu.

  36. A command line interface allows multiple WinKill functions to
  37. be executed sequentially from the commandline.
